Man, there are soo many different churches to choose from here in Auckland. I cant wait to find one I like and settle down. I have already been to a CLC service in South Auckland, and althought it was pretty good, I didnt get an immediate sense that it was me. I would like to go to one of their services in the City, but its too far to travel all the time.
Of course, nothing so far compares to Eastside Apostolic Church in Hamilton, I go there most weekends and I class it as my benchmark. Although having a whole bunch of really good friends who go there probably makes it a bit different...
My new flatmate goes to the Manurewa Baptist Church, I dont know much about the Baptists, though I guess they all worship the same God - so all good. My sister and bro-n-law preach at a their church, but thats in north/west Auckland, way too far to go. I can just imgine my Dad's disgust at me going to a Baptist church (jokingly of course). As he is an Anglican Minister - very orthodox - he probably believes they are the 'true' church...
Im sure I will find somewhere... Something to pray on...
